Meet Your Parent Liason
Bridget Jenkins-Capers, a native of Eutawville, has been a part of OCCSD3 since 1989 and has served the district and its community in capacities as such: teacher aide, parent coordinator, computer lab technician, school secretary, parent educator and currently parent liason. The combined positions have been applied to provide HHRM family with the most efficient service. Parents find her trustworthy and very resourceful.
Bridget is a graduate of Holly Hill-Roberts High School;she received her B.S. Degree in Management from Voorhees College, M.A. Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University and Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) Certification from Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College.
Bridget believes in the quote by Franklin Delano Roosevelt, "The test of our progress is not whether we add to the abundance of those who have much, it is whether we provide enough to those who have little." Therefore, Bridget is equally serious about and dedicated to her assignment and is delighted to be a part of the HHRM Family.
Bridget maintains a high quality Parent Resource Room at HHRM filled with books of all genres, a variety of learning games and parenting skill materials. Parents are encouraged to visit the Parent Resource Room. Bridget will assist you with determining what materials you need to help your child at home.
